Not 8,000 words but isn't it quality that counts?

“I love you.” Oggy says as he accepts her fists, the only contact they seem to have anymore. “I love you. I love you…” He repeats over and over again as she pounds on his shoulders. The dog whining finally makes her stop. Then Oggy rolls over on his side and weeps softly.“I love you.” He says as he accepts her fists, the only contact they seem to have anymore. “I love you. I love you…” He repeats over and over again as she pounds on his shoulders. The dog whining finally makes her stop. Then Oggy rolls over on his side and weeps softly.

I see now that I wrote the exact same thing twice. I'd delete the repeated half but it makes it even more creepy to leave it in. I might even add it a third time. Then Oggy rolls over on his side and weeps softly. Ha. If you read it enough times it becomes meaningless.
