Never Ending Maintenance

Gabriel Pro rear Shocks
New shocks provided almost no difference in ride since the front coil springs and the rear leaf springs do the bulk of the suspension work. But it was on my 5 year old check list of things to do if I ever won the lottery and looking at my latest direct deposit I feel like I won the lottery . Some previous owner really cut corners with the shocks I took off. They looked like the $17 variety suitable for a light duty car.
Monroe Front Shocks
One of the casualties of my five years living in a van was my crappy digitech guitar effects pedal that lived in a box with my shame and degradation. I forgot to take the batteries out and they corroded from my tears and wood smoke and the corrosion crept up the power trace on the circuit board. The thick one on the outside survived but the tiny one next door was eaten. So Oggy went to work with a solder iron. And his overdrive fuzz box came back to life.
note the pin hole area I had to solder to
There were 2 electrical breakdowns of the van at some point but I have no photographic proof so it's pointless to mention.

Ah hell, I think I reverted the widgets to default and it eliminated the word scramble.
