I was spinning in circles trying to solve a riddle on my van.
What is round and has a hole in it but doesn't let oil through?
The answer was an oil seal on the rear axle housing that I reused 2 years ago in august 2010. It wasn't in bad condition. and now the chickens have come home to roost as it failed and differential fluid is getting into the rear brakes. But I could only determine that by hunting through august 2010 pictures and I found this picture along with a pic of the oil seal.
My memory is worse than Ronald Reagan so I can only imagine that I asked this pizza chef to pose with her newest creation.another project from 8/10...still going strong.
